1950s Italian Triple Cased Platinum Flecked Toso Art Glass Ashtray

SOLD Fabulous Fratelli Toso tripod shaped, triple cased, large Italian art glass ashtray.

• Hand blown with three layers of clear, milk and turquoise glass decorated with specks of swirled platinum. 
• Weighs 2.75 lbs and is 10" wide, 2.5" deep. 
• Label reads "Murano Glass, Made in Italy", label attributed to Fratelli Toso.  The label dates to the 1950s. 
• No chips or cracks.  Glass is in excellent condition with a mention of a "maker's" miss inclusion as shown near the upper tip in image #5.  A "maker's miss" is something that occurs during the creation of the glass form, frequently found in hand blown items.  An "Inclusion" is usually in the form of an air bubble or a speck of coal from the glass heating furnace.  In this case it appears to be a speck of coal.
