Italian Art Glass Vintage Vortex Shell Ashtray

Mid-Century quality Italian art glass cigar ashtray bowl.

• Made by Fratelli Toso, a popular mid-century Italian Murano glass maker.  Circa 1950s.
• Large, heavy cased art glass of milk white and clear layers of spiralling aventurne and rare shade of purple decor.
• Hand-formed and hand-tooled.  Weighs 3 lbs.  Measures 10" long, 7" wide and 3" tall.
• In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or dings.  Previous owner applied felt to the base to protect.
• Stunning bowl, can be used for many things when not in ash service.  Would make a lovely service bowl, candleholder, incense burner, etc.
