Sommerso Bullicante Italian Glass Cigar Bowl

Vintage hand blown Italian glass cigar bowl.

Well made by one of the finer mid-century Italian glass makers. Dark amber graduating to medium green encased in clear glass.  Precise controlled bubbles starting small at base graduating to large.

In great condition.  Polished base has heavy bottom-wear (expected on old, heavy glass). Polished base has a small sliver chip that has been ground and smoothed.

Weighs 3 lbs. Measures 7.25" wide, 7" long and is 2.5" deep. Shown in image 5 with a big 6.5" long, .75" wide cigar (coloring in this image shows more blue than actually present, other images have correct coloring).

Circa 1950s. Organic clam shell form.

Doubles as a decorative candleholder, incense burner or server bowl.
