Goodyear Tire Ashtray 1950s Super Cushion

SOLD Old ashtray tire looks like new, great for patio and garage.

Rubber and glass tire ashtrays first appeared around the year 1915.  This ashtray is from the 1950's era according to it's part no. 6.70 - 15 (see image #4) that corresponds to tires made in the late 1940 to early 1950's

It's in excellent condition. The glass ashtray shows no use at all, older glass has some wavy lines.

The "dusty" looking area's in the vertical grooves seen in image #4, is indeed cursted dust.  The ashtray was very dirty when found, we cleaned it, but overlooked the deeper grooves.  It is clean now.

Measures 6" wide, 19" diameter, and 1.25" tall. Ashtray is original, has grooves that hold it tightly in place.
