Senator Sized Intaglio Glass Eagle Ashtray

Huge, heavy cigar ashtray. Perfect for the patio.

Massive. Weighs over 5 lbs. Measures 10" wide, 2" deep. Big enough for parties, patios and big fat cigar smoking Senators.

Made in the 1940s-1950s.

The dark reddish/amber chestnut color virtually glows with the varying thickness of the glass.  The seat is embossed with an eagle and stars.  Pressed deeply into glass from the backside.  Inner surface is smooth and slightly raised from the deep intaglio on the seat.

In great condition. Hand finished, no seams, quality glass. Has some heavy straw marks and trapped bubbles(from old fashioned cooling methods).
