Vintage Ice block glass table lighter

SOLD   Table lighter in block ice art glass.

Table lighters were a standard item in mid 20th century homes.  This lighter dates to the 1950s - 1970s.

Thick, brilliant glass is clay molded to imitate ice.  Scandinavian countries are famous for producing ice-like glass.  This lighter is not marked by the maker.

In excellent condition.  Lighter hardware still sparks. Marks seen in image 2 on hardware is petrified glue that once secured it inside the glass.  Hardware sits on a ridge on an inner ridge.

Measures 2.5" square and 3" tall.  Weighs 1.2 lbs.
