Viking Amethyst Crackle Glass Cigar Ashtray

SOLD Stunning cigar bowl in vintage amethyst crackle glass.

This awesome cigar bowl was made in the 1950s-1960s by Viking Art Glass.  The color is amethyst, a rich glowing purple. This was hand-formed, then dipped in cool water to achieve the fine crackle.  It has a polished bottom-rim (see image 4), showing bottom-wear as it should. Big - Measures 7.5" wide and 2.75" tall, weighs 3 lbs.  The rests are fat and made for cigars, but great for cigs or incense.  Retro Swedish-Modern styling.  Lovely centerpiece item, great candleholder. This ashtray form is exceptional for cigar aficionados.  The rests are wide and flat, the size is large but not too large, and it is deep enough for efficient and tidy cigar service.
