Tire Ashtray With Vaseline Glass Insert

 SOLD  Depression era tire ashtray, perfect for those forced to smoke in the garage!

This old tire ashtray has a vaseline glass insert (see image # 4).  Dates from the 1940s. Vaseline glass was made primarily during the war years when lead was scarce and uranium was substituted.

The tire has no wear, very little mileage.  The ashtray shows its age with wear on the applied base logo decor. No chips or cracks.  The ashtray is original to this tire.

Seiberling Special Services, Made in the USA is molded into the tire.  The ashtray decor has the "S" logo.

Measures 6.5" wide, 1.25" deep.
