SOLD        Baltic Sea bathing resort Herring Villiage vintage 1950s memento ashtray.

Seebad Heringsdorf (translation; Herring Villiage) is known as the "Bathtub of Berlin" located on the Baltic Sea in Germany.
King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. of Prussia and other imperial family members stayed several times for relaxations and recovery in the bathing resorts in the late 1700s to mid 1800s.
Most of the buildings in the town have been renovated into white mansions, primarily sold to nobles and wealthy citizens of Berlin.

Singed Grossbreitenbach  FFN in gold on base with the number 9. Below is the information corresponding to the maker's mark.

  • Founder(s): Franz Fritz
  • Period: as from 1950
  • This factory produced mostly souvenir wares: scenes and coat of arms of various cities and other tourist's items.
    The mark contains the monogram of its founder and as such can be interpreted as a Fürstenberg mark.

Measures 4.75" long. 3.25" wide, and 1/2" deep.
