Atomic Era Redware Pottery Set

SOLD    Two medium-sized vintage retro modern ashtrays.

Made of "redware" pottery.  Redware was formed of deep red clay.

Made in the Atomic Era, late 1940s to late 1950s.

Chocolate brown glaze with a frothy white rim. Nice long rests will accomodate small smokes and incense sticks.

One has a chip beneath the rim as shown in image 2.  The other has a small stress mark beneath the glaze.  Neither imperfection is too visible, the rim chip faces the surface and the stress mark is nearly invisible.

Measure 7.25" long, 4.25" at widest and 3/4" deep.
