Viking Crackle Glass Tangerine Cigar Ashtray

Persimmon art glass cigar ashtray in heavy vintage crackle glass.

This awesome cigar bowl was made in the 1960s-1970s by Viking Art Glass.  The color is a deep tangerine orange with hints of yellow.  Viking called this color "Persimmon".

This was hand-formed, then dipped in cool water to achieve the fine crackle. It has a polished bottom-ring, showing bottom-wear as it should.

Big - Measures 7.5" wide and 2.75" tall, weighs 3 lbs.  The rests are fat and made for cigars, but great for cigs or incense.  Swedish-Modern styling.  Lovely centerpiece item, great candleholder and incense burner.

Favored color of the 1960s and 1970s.  Back in vogue today in Retro Modern decor.
