Hippie Decor Stoneware Sun Face Patio Ashtray

 SOLD    Hand-made studio stoneware patio ashtray.

Hippie art from the days of Peace & Love.  Estimated circa 1960s-1970s.

In excellent, original condition.  Base was protected by felt, no bottom-wear.  Sun face has some irregular areas inherent in the artist's design.  No damage.

Looks a bit "Picasso-ish".  Moss green glaze has some nearly invisible age crazing, which is evenly dispersed and adds charm.

Very heavy.  Made of stoneware - might be a home-made recipe.  Weighs 3 lbs.  Measures 9.25" wide, 2" tall.  Cigar in image above is 6.5" long (to help show large size). Perfect for patio or party.
