A Dark Chestnut Brown Blown Glass Cigar Bowl

SOLD    Scarce and beautiful cigar bowl, great decor item.

This awesome cigar bowl was made in the 1950s by Viking Art Glass, a popular West Virginia glass maker of the time.  The color is chestnut, a rich glowing brown. The color is very hard to find today. This was hand-formed, then dipped in cool water to achieve the fine crackle.  It has a polished bottom-rim (see image 4), showing bottom-wear as it should. Big - Measures 7.5" wide and 2.75" tall, weighs 3 lbs.  The rests are fat and made for cigars, but great for cigs or incense.  Retro Swedish-Modern styling.  Lovely centerpiece item, great candleholder. This ashtray form is exceptional for cigar aficionados.  The rests are wide and flat, the size is large but not too large, and it is deep enough for efficient and tidy cigar service.
