Persimmon Diamond Faceted Cigar Ashtray Viking

  Large cigar ashtray in diamond cut Persimmon glass.

Vintage Viking Art Glass (#6724) ashtray introduced in 1967. Production continued through the mid 1970s. Thick, lucious molded glass looks like orange jello. Pattern called "Diamond".  No seams. Wide rests and deep bowl accomodates the largest of cigars, and all other sized smokes. Although it is at least 35 years old, it is in great condition with light wear in bowl (can see only if held to light) and medium bottom wear on the seat from years of surface contact.  Weighs 3.5 lbs, measures 8.5" wide, 2.25" tall.
