Milk Glass Pedestal Ashtray

SOLD Retro 1970s scroll pedestal table ashtray.

Made by Anchor Hocking from the 1940s until the mid 1970s.

Milk glass ashtray is in excellent condition.  Antiqued metal base shows a bit of wear to the black shading.  No chips, corrosion or metal damage.

The base of the pedestal shows metal age. Previous owner used felt to reduce bottom-wear (only one felt dot remains). The top of the pedestal, where it is applied to the milk glass, is ringed with dark yellow aged adhesive.  See image 2, the yellow marks are not dirt or damage, it is remnants of the adhesive the manufacturer used that has yellowed over time.

Stands 3" tall.  Designed for table-top.  Measures 5.5" at widest, girth of 17".
