SOLD    Blue Moon & Star  Glass Ashtray

Awesome L.E. Smith Glass, Moon & Star pattern ashtray made in the 1940s - 1960s. Deep pattern with full moons and stars in a beautiful deep blue. Original Moon & Star pattern was designed in the late 1800's.  The pattern, with slight variations survived in popularity until the 1970's. Measures 8" wide, 1.5" tall, weighs 2 lbs. Four cigarette-sized, or smaller, rests. Great ashtray for that "once in a blue moon" smoke. Makes a fine incense burner or candleholder when not in ash service.
