Old Brass Humidor and Spinning Ashtray

Old brass humidor and spinning ashtray combo.

Interesting set of very old, possibly antique, brass smoking accessories.

The canister is a humidor, complete with old sponge.  The ashtray has a nifty spinnner for emptying the mess into it's deep well.

There is no corrosion or dents on the metal.  Images of shiny metals magnify every detail, the metal is more uniform than it looks.  Soft golden patina with some marks left by cleaning attempts.  It's best not to use cleaner on old brass...elbow grease and buffing does the trick. The inner ashtray is black from soot and it's shine has worn off.

The humidor stands 5.5" tall, the ashtray is 2.5" tall.  When stacked, the set is 8" tall.
