Small Brass Spittoon Set Smoking Accessories

Old brass mini spittoons smoking accessories.

Pair of vintage brass baby spittoons.  These are an unusual find because they are so small.  Image no. 3 shows the small size in relation to a normal sized spittoon.

Great for holding cigarettes, smaller smokes, matchsticks, tobacco, small tools, etc.

The metal has no corrosion.  It does have about 40 years of wear showing on the copper in the form of old cleaning marks, atmosphere dots, and patina.  These were made in the 1960s-1970s.

The brass can be cleaned to bright and shiny with brass cleaner.  Some of the atmosphere spots will remain though.  Brass cleaner will eat away at all the patina too.  The images show the age wear vividly because of the light reflections.  The wear is not as bad as it looks in the images. On old brass like this, it's best to use a citris oil and soft cloth and rub, and rub...and rub.  Eventually the spotting will blend together.
