Stangl Pottery Elegant 1950s Ashtray with real gold

         Elegant organic style with real gold paint from the 1950s.

Classy medium-sized pottery ashtray in Stangl's Granada Gold pattern.

Marked "Haind Painted Stangl Trenton, N.J. Granada Gold 3942"

Measures 8.5" x 7" oval, 1.75" tall.  Large rests will accomodate the largest cigar to the smallest pin roll.  Deep bowl to help keep the mess in.

This beautiful decor ashtray was made in the 1950s by Stangl.  Stangle was an American decor pottery company that is no longer in business.

Gold paint reflects and shines (it's real gold) making it difficult to image.  The black spots are simply reflections...not damage.  The gold paint is in excellent, original condition.

Hand painted gold is as bright as it was 60 years ago.  No chips, no cracks, no crazing.  No bottom-wear.  Original owner applied felt bottom protectors which are still on this ashtray. Weighs 1.5 lbs.

Other Stangl Granada ashtrays shown in images 3, 4 & 5  are available separately.  The color on all items made in the Granada Gold pattern is identical.   The gold color in some images appears to be brighter, but this is due to lighting conditions when the image was taken.
