Art Deco marine blue cigar lounge ashtray

The perfect cigar ashtray...large, heavy with dedicated rests.  SOLD

Scarce mid-century modern Viking Art Glass huge glass ashtray in deep manly blue.  Viking called this patented color 'Bluenique'.  Big hand-made ashtrays are deep with fat rests, made for cigars but useful for other smokes.

Viking Art Glass was known as New Martinsville Glass before the 1940s.  This eye-capturing beauty was probably made by New Martinsville.  A matching set of TWO are available (sold separately, enter quantity at checkout).

The pattern is called "Three Foil", Viking part no. 1102.  Both ashtrays are at least 50 years old, could be up to 70 years old. Click here to learn more about New Martinsville/Viking glass.

Very large, very heavy.  Measures 10" x 10" x 10", 3.25" tall - weighs 5 lbs. In excellent condition with heavy bottom-wear (caused by years of surface contact and expected in vintage glass). Hand-formed glass, no seams.  Images 5-7 show exact actual color.

Great art deco style - impressive ashtray. Fabulous by the pool.
