Vintage Sterling on blue crystal orb smoke set

SOLD Stunning ashtray and lighter set with Sterling Silver and original labels.

Made by Viking Art Glass in the 1950s/1960s.

In excellent condition.  All original Sterling Silver present.  Beautiful deep blue glass is clean and brilliant. Appears to have been unused, displayed only.  Both items have a heavy band of bottom-wear caused by shelf wear (normal and expected on antique and vintage glass).

Both items have original silver labels "Sterling on Crystal non Tarnish".  The real Sterling silver overlay is in a floral pattern called "Flanders".

Beautiful classy "Bluenique" glass (Viking trademark color) in the ever popular ORB or BALL modernist form. Preserved in like-new condition.

Lighter (Viking part no. 1125) sparks, will require new fluid. Lighter mechanism is original to the lighter body. Ashtray (Viking part no. 6625) has one rest.  Silver overlay on rim is very thick.  Heavy glass, set weighs 2.25 lbs.
