Cigar ashtray by Viking in rare color

SOLD Hard to find vintage ashtray from the hippest generation.

Retro Vintage Viking Art Glass made in the 1968 to 1969 only.  Short production makes this fabulous mid-century modernist ashtray very scarce today.

Large, weighs 4 lbs.  Measures 7" long on 3 sides. 2" tall.

Viking part no. 1099. Thick, smooth, beautiful glass in a scarce color called "Thistle".  In good condition with heavy bottom-wear caused by sitting upon surfaces for 40 years. Has two minute inner rim chiggers that cannot be seen but can be felt with fingertips. Price reflects used condition.

Deep, has 3 cigar sized rests. The large Macanudo cigar in image 2 is 6" long and .75" wide, to help show the ample size of this ashtray.  Works as a candleholder too.  Large enough to use as a candleholder and ashtray simultaneously.
