Pair of heavy retro mod glass ashtrays. SOLD

Mod geometric pattern reflects light like crazy...these ashtrays are always sparkling. Made by Blenko Art Glass in the 1980s. Pattern is called 'Diamond'.

Made by 'slumping'; pouring molten glass into a base mold and heat finishing the rims by hand. Blenko part no. 804S.

The pattern is on the base only and provides little feet. The rim and inner surface is smooth. Four slim rests, perfect for cigarettes or smaller. Ledge is 1" wide and will balance cigars.

Both in perfect original condition. A couple of trapped air bubbles are present which are normal in vintage hand-made glass.

Weigh 3lbs each. Measure 5" x 5" x 1.5" tall. Nice medium-sized all-purpose ashtrays and heavy enough to stay put. Rare to find a matching pair.
