Crystal ashtray with stylized geometric decor

Classy mid-sized modernist crystal ashtray.

Sublime elegance.  This perfect ashtray is not too big, not too small, will accomodate cigars, and is stylishly crafted of crystal.

Deep molded vertical spears on the exterior captures the light, then magnifies it and refracts it providing for an exceptional 'glitter'.

The deep molded geometric pattern on the exterior base has satin etching on half of the shapes and beveling on the outlines which provide an 'eye treat' on the smooth ash surface.

Also features a thick rim that hangs slightly over the side walls creating a bowl that helps contain the ash. Four rests are detailed with raised rims that help secure the smoke.  Accomodates cigars and smaller.

In excellent condition.  Age and maker unknown.  Has a Swedish style to it, probably from a Nordic country.  Will double as a candleholder or catch-all when not in ash service. Measures 6" round, weighs 1.2 lbs.
