Crystal ice block modernist decor ashtray

Thick chunk crystal personal ashtray.

Classy mid-century modernist deep well ashtray with a slim single rest for cigarette or smaller.

Made of 1.5 lbs of crystal.  A clay mold was used giving the surface an irregular 'hammered' like decor.  Looks like a chunk of ice.

In excellent condition.

Probably of Nordic origin.  Sweden and Denmark provided quality glass art in naturalist forms.  Circa 1960s.

Measures 3" square, 2.5" tall.  The deep well helps keep the ash inside where it belongs.  The single rest is long, slim and flat on a wide ridge.  Designed to be the perfect ashtray.
