RESERVED Hand-formed art glass cigar bowl in steely bluish black with veils of gold.

This form and decor style is attributed to Italy's famous Archimede Seguso.
Made in the 1950s.  In excellent condition with heavy bottom-wear (little scratches on the seat formed by years of surface contact and expected in vintage glass)
A steel blue, almost black layer encases a veil of gold, intense in the center and veiling up to the rims.  An outer casing of colorless glass covers the blue/black layer.  The colorless glass glows light green/yellow under blacklight (occurs with most 1950s art glass from Italy).
Weighs 4 lbs.  The colorless layer was pulled up to create handy handles to lift the heavy glass.  Measures 8" at widest and 3.5" tall.
Deep bowl with inward folded rims provide for tidy ash keeping.  Can double as a candleholder, incense burner, catch-all, etc. when not in ash service.
