Vintage ironstone cigar ashtray with 3 fat cigar rests and deep well.

Shaped like an arena with a guitar slinging bullfighter decor that represents a bottle of Tio Pepe, a famous Spanish wine by Gonzales Byass.  Gonzales Byass winery is located in Jerez, Spain doing business since 1835.

Signed on the base; Pontesa Ironstone, Spain.  Circa 1950 - 1970.

In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  Color is bright and shiny.  See image 4 to view the ashtray seat and maker's mark.  The white glaze on the seat has some age crazing.  Dual 'tic' marks on seat are left by the potter's tool.

Measures 6" round and 2" tall.  6 inch cigar shown in images.  Weighs 1 lb.
