Portuguese ceramic vintage single cigar rest and ash receiver

Vintage Spanish style cigar rest by Secla, Portugal.

Great ashtray for the stylish cigar aficionado. Single extra-long rest leads to big deep bowl that catches the ashes. Measures 8" long, 5" at widest and 1.5" tall. Signed P.2615, Secla Made in Portugal.  The 'P' stands for Pinto Ribeiro (1921-1989), who founded Secla in 1944.  The decor of this ashtray and the avocado green color points to the mid-century, 1950s-1960s.  Secla is still in business today, providing decor pottery for major high-end stores.
