Retro mod Viking Art Glass horseshoe ashtray set of 4

Very hard to find, especially as a set, Viking Art Glass Horseshoe ashtrays.  Read more about Viking Art Glass.   Shown in the 1960 Viking catalog, part no. 996. Colors are amethyst, amber gold, charcoal (rare color) and emerald green. Called 'Horseshoe'. The eliptical shape resembles somthing like a horseshoe, but was derived from the space age decor tastes of the time. Perfect for parties. Single rests will balance cigars, and will hold cigarettes or smaller. Each measure 3.5" long, 3.25" wide, 1.5" at tallest and weigh ½ lb. Will double as candleholders, incense burners, etc. All are in excellent, like new, condition. Hand-made retro mod glass from the 1960s.
