Japanese WWII airplane ashtray 1950s pottery

Fighter plane ashtray marked "Japan" on seat. Made in the 1950s to 1960s.  In original condition.  Looks new.  Looking closely at the surface you can see two very tiny burst bubbles at the surface that were present since it was made. Unique form.  Scarce. Measures 7" long, 6.25" wide and .75" tall.  Has four seat rest bars that raise it from the surface.  Three smoke rests will accomodate medium cigars and smaller smokes.  Great for stick incense too. Perfect gift for airplane buffs!
