Retro Nova Boopie party ashtray set

Retro Nova 'Boopie' pair of ashtrays in light iridescent blue and yellow. Made by Anchor Hocking during the 1970s.  Anchor Hocking called this pattern Nova, and it features their 'boopie' style ball decor seen in varying sizes on other AH items.  In very good condition with only a few nearly invisible usage scratches (can only be seen if held to the light), which is unusual due the the iridescent carnival finish that is usually worn by cleaning over the last 30 years. Substantial weighted glass ashtrays; large weighs 2½ lbs and the small weighs 1.25 lb.  Large measures 7½ and the smaller is 5" round.  Great for card game or party ashtrays.  Rests located between each ball will balance a cigarette or smaller smoke. Also nice as jewerly/coin catch, candle holder and incense burner.  Shown in image 2 with a large candle.
