Moon and Star Stash Jar Canister

Beautiful, thick Depression glass in the 'Moon and Star' pattern.

Glass is clean and brilliant - no liquid stains.  Thick mold blown glass with pontil scar on seat (left by the makers tool). The container was made with a 4-part mold, lids were 2-part (no visible mold lines).  The inner neck of the jars and the outer rim of the lids are 'ground to fit' creating an airtight seal.

Has a solid band of bottom-wear which is found on the seats of very old glass caused by years of shelf-wear.  Bottom-wear cannot be seen unless looked for and is not considered damage. Has a chip on the inner rim of the lid which is often found on old glass canisters. Does not affect the air-tight seal.

Measures 5" tall and weighs 1½ lbs and holds one quarter gallon.
