American Atomic Era Art Pottery Large Ashtray

Big, deep hand-made pottery ashtray with plenty of room for all sizes of smokes.  Stylish center bar elevates the smokes above the ample bowl.  Works great with incense sticks too.   It's marked USA 104.  The specific American maker is not known as many potteries used the identification after WWI and through the 1950s. In perfect condition with old and frayed applied felt at the tips of the three little feet.  The felt tabs prevented 'bottom wear'.   No crazing.  The glaze of mottled white dots, muave and smokey purple is still shiny.  No chips or bumps.  Looks new.  Circa 1950. Measures 10" long, 7½" wide and 1 ½" tall.  Weighs 2 lbs.
