A Sip and a Smoke Pottery Mug and Ashtray

Retro pottery Sip n Smoke coffee break kit from the 1950s. Coaster, mug holder and ashtray ready-made for escaping.  Will sit comfortably on your level knees, perfect for table-top too.  Easy to carry.  Glaze is glossy coffee brown with creamy white froth-like trim.  The coaster and ashtray are made of old organic 'redware' pottery. The ashtray well is embossed with 'Sip n Smoke'.  The mug is made of a lighter colored ceramic, and is not redware.  It may be a replacement, but the marriage of colors and decor is perfect.  Both items were hand-made. Mug is in perfect condition.  Coaster / ashtray has a chip on the base shown in image 3 that cannot be seen from the surface or sides.  The coaster surface has minor wear, hard to see in the images because the 'redware' shows throught the wear spots and is a close shade of the coffee colored base.   The glaze is in bright near-original condition.
