Bubble Ashtray Bowl by Blenko Mid-Century Art Glass with Foil Label

Mid-Century Blenko Art Glass hand-blown ashtray designed by Wayne Husted  (Blenko 1953-1963). Blenko 508 controlled bubble ashtray in colorless glass. Click to learn more about Blenko Art Glass. In excellent condition with silver foil hand label. Circa 1950's - 1960's, very light bottom wear.   Hand-blown with soft pontil mark on the seat. Measures 7" Wide, 2.75" Tall, Weighs 3 lbs. Beautiful thick glass with controlled air bubbles. In image 3, this ashtray is on the right.   Blenko's clear glass often has a slight tint of blue that reveals itself under high lighting.  As you can see, this ashtray has much less blue reflections than the ashtray on the left (available separately).
