Sommerso Art Glass Retro Modern Ash Bowl

Beautiful mid-century hand-made art glass single rest ash bowl. Quality crystal in ultra marine, light yellow and colorless.  Mid-century modern sommerso art glass probably made in Italy, may have been made in Scandinavia. Circa 1950s - 1960s. In great condition.  The base seat is polished flat with bevelled edges.  Along the tiny bevelled edges on the seat are two very tiny chiggers that can be felt with fingertips, but not seen.  No inclusions.  Excellent quality. Doubles as a candleholder, incense burner or catch-all when not in ash service. Measures 6" long on three sides, stands just under 3" tall, weighs 2lbs.
