Antique ashtray made with quality crystal overlaid with ruby red crystal.
The maker cut back (by hand) the ruby layer to produce the deco era pattern. Probably made in Europe in the 1940s or earlier.
Thick-walled ashtray measures 4″ round and 1½” tall. In excellent condition. Three level smoke rests Perfect for you small fancy butts.
Beautiful specimen of the Art Deco period. Works as a stunning candleholder, cone incense burner or catch-all when not in ash service.
