Hefty vintage deep ashtray from 1960s/1970s Imperial Glass.
Four pounds of thick green glass, great for patio or parties. Made by Imperial Glass, an elegant maker of the mid 20th century. From the “Olde Jamestown” line. Circa 1960s. Hand-made, thick glass. Designed to look like primitive early American glass. This line was developed to cater to the tastes of the hippie/naturalist crowd.
Formed by pressing into base mold and heat finished by hand. Slightly rough textured surface and evident air bubble within the glass (visible in images). Measures 7″ square and 2″ tall.
