Large mid-century modern crackle glass cigar bowl made in USA.
This beautiful cigar ashtray was made in the 1950s-1960s by Viking Art Glass. It was blown from mold, hand-finished on the rim to create the large rests, then dipped in cool water to achieve the fine crackle. It has a polished bottom-rim showing bottom-wear as it should. Heavy vintage glass items accumulate tiny scratches on the seat over the years. Not visible unless looked for.
Big – Measures 7.5″ wide and 3″ at tallest point, heavy – weighs 3 lbs. The rests are fat and made for cigars, but great for cigs or incense. Long wide rims allow smokes to float over 2″ deep bowl designed to catch and retain debris. Swedish-Modern styling.
The perfect ashtray for cigar smokers. Great for all other sizes of smokes too. Big enough to hold a fat candle in the center. Perfect color for the smoking section on the back lawn.
