Description
Made by Cambridge Glass in 1947 to 1956. Pattern called “Cascade”, Line 4000.
Metal is gilded, gold antique finish is in great condition, still bright and shiny. Metal pipe/cigar taper in the center of the bowl shows some wear, and the rubber washer between it and the glass is petrified hard. Stands strong and sturdy. Rests are large enough for cigars, deep enough for cigars and pipes, and will hold all other kinds of smokes too. Versatile beauty could be used as an incense holder.
Nouveau styled pot metal stem looks like a gather of leaves. Nouveau styling, revived in the 1950s.
