Pineapple Plantation Ashtray and Stash Box

Nice mid-size vintage pottery ashtray and cigar box sized hand-carved wooden box. The ashtray fits inside the box with room for other stash items.

The ashtray is marked on the seat 'SP 107 Calif U.S.A. Maurice'. Made in the 1960s. It's in perfect condition. The box has no makers mark and is made of a reddish lightweight wood. The carving represents a pineapple plantation hut and field. The old hinge has been repaired and there's usage scratches inside the box on on the rim, but otherwise great condition. The box is hand-made, hand-carved and hand-painted.

The pineapple ashtray measures 9″ long and 5½” wide. Deep bowl with dual tapered rests on a center bar. Fits cigarettes and smaller. The pineapple box measures 11½” long, 7½” wide, and 3½” tall.Items shown in the Big Ashtray Museum are not for sale.
