Thick mid-century modern crystal clam shell cigar ashtray by Fostoria circa 1950’s – 1960’s.

Mid-century modern crystal clam shell cigar ashtray is marked on the base ‘Fostoria’. Fostoria was an elegant mid-20th century glass maker in America, no longer in business.

Well-designed to rest any size cigar. The rest is 1¾” wide, ½” deep and cradled. The cigar is held a good distance above the deep and ample sloped well.

Signed with sandblast ‘Fostoria’ on the seat.  Measures 7.5″ x 5.5″, 3″ at tallest. Weighs nearly 3lbs. Made by hand. Cigar shown in image 2 is a 5″ long fatty.

No damage. Over 50 years old. Some expected scuffing on the base due to surface wear. Polished half-moon pontil mark within a polished flat ring seat.

Perfect for the luxury smoke. High quality vintage hand-made heavy crystal.

Mid-century modern crystal clam shell cigar ashtray is marked on the base ‘Fostoria’. Fostoria was an elegant mid-20th century glass maker in America, no longer in business.

Well-designed to rest any size cigar. The rest is 1¾” wide, deep and cradled. The cigar is held a good distance above the ample well. Perfect for the luxury smoke. High quality vintage hand-made glass.

Measures 7.5″ x 5.5″, 2.5″ tall. Weighs nearly 3lbs. Made by hand. No damage. Over 50 years old. Some expected scuffing on the base due to surface wear. Polished half-moon pontil mark.

Cigar shown in image 2 is a 5″ long fatty.
