Rarely seen giant glass kidney bean coffee table ashtray made by Viking Art Glass in the 1960’s.
Documented in Viking 1960’s catalog, part no. 1150. Huge kidney bean coffee table ashtray sports 23 rests accommodating cigars and smaller. Measures 15.5″ long, 7″ at widest and 1.5″ deep. Weighs 4 lbs. The cigar shown is 6″ long. This is a huge ashtray. Sized to be a coffee table centerpiece.
Beautiful retro modern naturalist smoke olive green colored glass. Can fill it with anything when not in smoking use. It was made as an ashtray but its large size, stunning color and stylish rests make it useful for other décor such as catch-all, candles, incense, etc. This deep long dish could be used as an snack server with snacks on toothpicks leaning on the rests and sauce drizzled in the bowl.
Quality vintage glass in excellent condition. Glass is clean and brilliant with no upper scratches.
