Beautiful Vintage Hand Formed Blue glass Cigar Ashtray Set of Two
Hand-made cigar ashtray set from the mid-20th century. Made by pouring molten glass into a mold to produce the crackled base texture. After the glass has cooled it is removed and then hand-finishing with tool to create the rests and torch to soften the ridges and corners.
Beautiful ‘pool blue’ colored glass looks liquid and glitters and glows in the light. Perfect poolside or deck cigar ashtray set. They weigh 2 lbs each, can’t get knocked around easily.
Maker unknown. This beautiful cigar ashtray set was discovered at a bazaar in Athens, Greece. They are probably of Italian or Scandinavian make. Circa 1960’s to 1970’s.
Both in like-new condition. Perfect end-table size. Measure 5″ square, 1.5″ tall. Each sports two 1″ wide, .3/4″ long level cradle rests. Shown with a big 6″ long cigar.
