Free form vintage crystal ashtray.
This vintage crystal ashtray was formed by hand-tool from a blob of molten hot colorless glass.
Heavy ashtray weighs almost 2 lbs. Measures 6.5″ at widest and is 3.5″ tall. Nice deep bowl helps keep the mess in. Offers three hand-tooled rests and one area perfect for a pipe hook. The base is polished flat.
Circa 1950’s to 1960’s. In the Murano style so popular in the mid-20th century. American companies produced the Murano style too. In excellent condition with bottom-wear (tiny scratches on the base caused by years of surface contact.
This beauty may have been made by Pilgrim Art Glass for their Venetian line.
