The flashy retro color, called Persimmon by Viking, undulates in the light and looks like orange jello.
This thick, luscious glass ashtray was hand formed by Viking Art Glass, circa 1950s to 1960s. We have not found a documented part no. for this ashtray. It matches Viking’s oval #1110 (appeared in 1962 catalog), BUT it has a stylized multi-foot base. It is a variance made during the hand forming process.
Beautiful, quality glass. Measures 8.5″ long, 4 7/8″ wide and 1.25″ tall. Weighs 2 lbs. Shown with a 5″ cigar.
