Stunning Art Deco rocket ashtray in ruby red high quality glass. Beautiful and tasteful design with space-age influence.

Rarely seen ashtray form, especially in this deep beautiful ruby color, made in the early 1930’s by one of America’s premier elegant glass makers. Duncan & Miller called this the “Club” ashtray.

No damage. Glass is brilliant.

Designed with form and function in mind. The 2¾” deep bowl is great for retaining ash debris, keeping it practically untouchable by blowing winds. A nice deep bowl is also appreciated by cigar smokers who wish to float their smokes well above the ash surface.  Sports three level ½” wide cradle rests.

The base is polished flat and shows signs of uniform bottom-ware. Bottom-wear is the tiny little scratches you see on the base of old glass caused by years of surface contact. It is expected and reveals age. This masterful ashtray is about 85 years old.

You’ll probably never see another like this. Measures 4½” round, 2¾” tall and weighs 1 lb.
