Totally groovy ashtray from the days of the Hippie .
An ashtray like this (in a different color) was used in the set of ‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ in Mike Myers parent’s house which was full of mid-century modern objects.
Made by hand in heavy, high quality mind-blowing orange and yellow glass. Viking Art Glass called this color ‘Persimmon’. Viking catalog part no. 6723. Made in the USA between 1968 and 1978.
Beautiful ultra mod design ashtray with curved raised rest bar and four rests. Bright orange and yellow glass color lightens and darkens in different lighting. Plenty of room for cigars, smaller smokes and paraphernalia.
Big ashtray measures 8″ round and 1 1/4″ tall. Weighs 2 lbs. In great condition.
