Mid-Century Glass Ashtray Ruby Red Tri-Corner

Mid-Century glass ashtray circa 1960’s – 1970’s USA. By Viking Art Glass in their regal ruby red color.

Large and stunningly beautiful mid-century art glass ashtray.  The vintage ruby red glass glows in the light like a real jewel. Great cigar ashtray.

It weighs a whopping 4 lbs. Measures 8″ long on 3 sides. 2″ tall. The shape, size and large level cradle rests make it the perfect ashtray for cigar smokers. Will balance smaller smokes too.

Mid-century glass Viking Art Glass catalog part no. 1099.  This form was produced in the 1960’s to early 1970’s. Rarely found in the coveted ruby color.

Deep bowl with 3 large, level cradle rests.  Stately and regal ashtray with highly functional mid-century modern design. Top quality glass. In great condition. Two scratches on the ash receiving surface, barely noticeable. The base (seat) was protected with felt tabs, leaving very little bottom-wear, unusual for an mid-century glass ashtray that’s at least 50 years old.
