Hard to find vintage glass ashtray set with deep well and multi-size rests. Offered as a set of two.
Vintage glass ashtray set by Fostoria, USA circa 1940. Hard to find without chiggers to the sharp edges, but this ashtray set is like-new.
These sturdy yet elegant glass ashtrays came in three sizes; very large, large, and medium. This set consists of one large and one medium. The medium sized ashtray stacks neatly inside the large ashtray. Each sport (4) dual size (see image 3) rests which can rest fat smokes to small smokes. Multiple rimmed ridges are useful for pipes and other paraphernalia.
They are bright and shiny like the day they were made over 70 years ago (made in the 1940’s by Fostoria Glass, USA). The quality hand-made vintage glass in golden amber, a pleasing color that goes with any decor. Perfect for side tables.
Set of two. The large ashtray measures 7½” round, and weighs nearly 2 lbs. The medium ashtray measures 5″ round and weighs 1 lb. Both are 1¾” tall. In excellent condition.
